(June 1, 2021) “These funds will be put to good use by purchasing new protective gear for our firefighters,” said Assistant Chief Clemons. Their current hose, from 1981, is a cotton jacket hose which has far exceeded its service life, and the turnout gear most of the 30 volunteers have is from the late 1990s and is significantly worn out. I’m happy to help provide this new equipment to show my appreciation to the Daggett Fire first responders.
