(June 1, 2021) The Adin Fire Protection District is receiving a grant of $10,000 to be used towards the repair of Engine 4722 which was burned in Northern California’s Gold Fire. The Gold Fire was a dangerous wildfire that burned in July 2020, south of Adin along Highway 139 in Lassen County. Over 20,000 acres were burned, and over a dozen structures were destroyed. It’s my privilege to help out in getting the engine repaired.
(Oct. 14, 2021) The repairs are not quite done yet but here are the most recent pictures from the repair shop.
